New York, NY - Thursday February 11th 2010 - As if the city of New York being battered by a pseudo blizzard early this week wasn't enough, another force of nature rears it's head in the form of an, "Unstoppable", "Untitled Wave". Fortunately for us this manifestation of furious H2O comes in auditory form, the first of four singles to be released by Ciph Diggy of the group Sleepwalkas off his forthcoming solo LP (Untitled Wave; Release Date March 30th). This high power, sound surge produced by 2 Hungry Brothers, features K.Gaines (Sleepwalkas) with cuts by M-Tri (Emcee/DJ/Producer).
Tonight Ciph Diggy will unveil this new single to fans during Sleepwalkas' set at The Bowery Poetry Club (308 Bowery btwn Houston &Bleecker). The show called, "Stop Talkin Start Walkin" is hosted by Tah Phrum Duh Bush (underground Hiphop's hardest working emcee) as Respect Da God (Perverted Monks) headlines a tremendous line-up of special guest including underground Hiphop legend in his own right Afu-Ra. Ciphdiggy, one half of the duo Sleepwalkas has commandeered a surfing board. His aim, to ride and control this overwhelming force, while disseminating information concerning what is to come. In order to prepare for this task it was imperative that Ciph let go of all personal limitations. Bondaries have no place, nor does the speech of skeptical naysayers, when securing reigns to control the essence of the, "Untitled Wave".
