Download - K. Sparks "Bright Lights" Feat Julius Francis

"When Kurser gave me this beat I starting thinking how to attack this beat...it's a club track but I don't believe in making your typical shake ya booty booty and get drunk in the club music so I found a way to incorporate a few gems in the process...that's why I say in the record, you feel the beat indeed it's sumthin you can drink to but most importantly it's sumthin really you can think to...props to everyone who supports." -K. SPARKS

DT - "Auto2ne Master"

Had to snatch this up from The Good Look blog and spread the word about this pretty dope song from DT of Clan Destined, that VJC family.

Bandcamp.mu is pretty awesome!

Bandcamp Screencast from Ethan Diamond on Vimeo.
Bandcamp isn’t Yet Another Place to Put Your Music. Rather, we power a site that’s yours. So instead of ads for Sexy Singles Chat, your fans see your design, your music, your URL. You retain all ownership rights, and we just hang out in the background handling the tech stuff.

Choice. We offer your tracks in mp3, AAC, FLAC, Ogg...all the formats your überfans demand. Choose between giving away your music, setting a price, letting folks name their price – it’s up to you.

Viral distribution. We give your fans drop-dead easy tools to share your music with their friends, and most importantly we do it in a way that drives traffic back to you. We also give you complete transparency into how your music is spreading, with...

The motherflippin’ stats party. We show you where your fans are coming from, what they’re listening to, even which tracks they’re obsessed with versus which ones they’re skipping over. And we make it real purdy, too.

Your fifth (very nerdy) Beatle. We provide fast, dependable streaming and downloads of your catalog, adorn your tracks with all the metadata they need to sail into iTunes with artwork, track names, and so on intact, and mutter the various incantations necessary to get your site top-ranked in Google. All things we know you could do, but we suspect you’d rather focus on your music. Well, think of us as your invisible bandmate who loves that other stuff. And we won't even ask to play tambourine.

GLC and Kanye West - The Big Screen

Kanye West raps along side his new artist GLC on "The Big Screen", the new single off of the True To The Game compilation in stores March '09.

TRUE TO THE GAME will also feature new tracks combining the talents of successful and prominent recording artists with new talent such as Yung Joc, Sam Chris and Big Boi, T-Pain and Tay Dizm and many more.

Participating artists for TRUE TO THE GAME want to recognize, thank and give back to their brothers and sisters who played in the Negro Baseball Leagues. These artists are literally putting their money where their mouth is and donating a heavy part of their proceeds from the album sales to the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum in Kansas City, MO. The museum proudly keeps this amazing era in sports alive and works to better the communities and the country through education, outreach, scholarships and more.

Chuck Norris On Drugs - Sum Majere [ Explicit Lyrics]

What can be said about American popular culture icon Chuck Norris? After a career of martial arts and action films he found his place on television, making cameos on various shows and in film. He even became the star of his very own tv series Walker, Texas Ranger now in syndication. At nearly seventy years old he's still physically fit and endorses Total Gym in late night infomercial spots. His career will never die as his legend continues via internet spoofing and sites like http://www.chucknorrisfacts.com/ that jokingly make claims of his super human abilities.(Chuck Norris doesn't wear a watch, HE decides what time it is.)

It's only suitable that an extraordinary indie artist named Sum Majere fabricate the most interestingly awesome conceptual song 'Chuck Norris On Drugs' discussing popular culture while infusing many national and global issues that in ways have actually become 'popular culture'.

Black Culture f Wise Intelligent and Doodle Bug

In early 2006 Truth approached Paris with his work-in-progress debut album project and impressed Paris so much he quickly became a member Paris’ Guerrilla Funk family (Truth’s sophomore LP, Decolonization, is slated to be released in October 2008 on Paris’ Guerilla Funk label). Fully embodying Truth Universal's social and political awareness, Self Determination, is a tour de force which showcases his DIY attitude and his West Indian and New Orleans backgrounds. Self Determination encourages dialogue on topics that trouble communities of color across the planet. Truth touches on self-hatred, the struggle New Orleans residents to attain the right to return to their homes “post Katrina, “culture theft, policies of “the George Bush regime,” the Prison systems inequities and big business mentality.

Even with such serious topic matters being addressed, Truth always keeps his eyes on the prize with Self Determination and delivers his insightful and informative verses in an entertaining (edutainment) fashion and that is verified by collaborations with Wise Intelligent (formerly of Poor Righteous Teachers), Digable Planet’s Doodlebug and Dead Prez’s Stic.Man. Further, Truth enlists a top-notch assortment of producers as well; including Panik from The Molemen, S1 of Strange Fruit (S1 has previously worked with Little Brother and Erykah Badu), Nick Tha 1da (who works with Raheem Devaughn) and Bass Heavy who has worked with BG, Soulja Slim and is an in-house producer @ Mannie Fresh’ Fatboy Records.

Truth Universal’s debut, Self Determination, will be released on 4-8-08 by Dragon’s Breath Records and included is a link to DL a track from his debut, "Black Culture" f/Wise Intelligent and Digable Planet's Doodlebug--the track is produced by Panik from The Moleman.
